How We Fix Nursing License Lookup Errors Quickly
License lookup pages must be accurate enough to guide users to the correct official source. If an official link, board name, screenshot step, or status explanation is wrong, we want to correct it fast.
What Counts as a Correction
- Broken or redirected official board links.
- Wrong board name, agency name, phone number, or address.
- Outdated screenshot instructions or search-field labels.
- Incorrect explanation of active, inactive, expired, suspended, revoked, compact, or disciplined status.
- Missing warning that the official source controls final verification.
- Confusing content that may send a reader to the wrong lookup system.
Correction Priority
| Priority | Issue | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Urgent | Wrong official verification path or board link | Review and update as soon as possible. |
| High | Incorrect license-status explanation | Re-check official source and revise wording. |
| Medium | Screenshot workflow changed | Replace screenshot notes or rewrite steps. |
| Normal | Style, clarity, formatting, or non-critical typo | Fix during scheduled editorial update. |
